01Problem

The office ran on scattered handsets: a call would go missing and nobody knew who had taken it. One PBX with clear routing was the answer.

02What was done

  1. 01Deployed an Asterisk PBX and connected the SIP trunks.
  2. 02Extensions, groups, forwarding, IVR.
  3. 03Connected the IP phones and staff softphones.

03Outcome

  • Calls run through one PBX, none go missing, and the phone bill came down.

04Stack

  • Asterisk
  • SIP
  • FreePBX
  • Linux
